Eva Longoria changes dresses at ALMA Awards
The “Desperate Housewives” babe Eva Longoria hosted the ALMA 2008 at Pasadena Civic Centre on August 17. She changed her dress 10 times to wear a total of 11 dresses but could not break her own record of changing 17 times which she made last year. She also got her hair re-done with each dress to suit the change. It must have been a painful and tough exercise for the cute lady who has also been rumored to be pregnant lately. She was escorted by her hubby Tony Parker, the famous basketball player to the event. Keep up the good work and you must work hard to make new records!!! It’s the Olympics season!!!
So the rumor mill was working double yesterday. Supposedly there is an Eva Longoria and Tony Parker sex tape making the rounds. Sexperts are predicting if the tape is authentic it will be the biggest tape since “One Night in Paris”. I may not a sexpert yet, but I know porn. I think making a porn with your partner (a loving, trustable person hopefully whom you have been with for a long time) can be an okay idea. Some people say “no, it’s always a bad idea” but I think in certain situations it can good way to keep your sex life fresh. Because no matter how much you think no one would want to see your imperfect non famous naked ass, someone would watch it. So either only view it on the camera or be prepared to destroy it at the first sign of problems in your relationship. My friend Gina posted this in her xanga, and i would like to post my take on this. Most females simply cannot survive without makeup. It is a commodity in every household with female inhabitants. Why?

In a world where appearance is everything, it would seem that makeup is the ultimate life-saver for females. One thing Gina stated that i couldnt have worded better would be the vicious cycle that you put your skin through.
You think your skin looks bad, so you put on makeup to hide it. You get so addicted, you can't live without it, and this in turn worsens your skin.
I'm guilty as charged. Well at least i used to be. back in high school where i had BAD BAD BAD skin, i piled on foundation to make my skin even, slapped on thick lipstick and a gaudy shade of eyeshadadow to deviate the attention from my skin and onto some other part of my face. So i thought, makeup clogs my skin. if i were just more meticulous in my beauty regime, it would somehow balance out the 'harm' im doing to my skin, right?
W-R-O-N-G!
I piled on rich products, cleaser, toner, all sortsa facial masks and yet my skin did not get better! i went for facials where the beautician put me through intense pain by squeezing my zits but that was only a temporary solution.
i graduated from high school and there was this long holiday of three months i had before i started college. During that period of time, i did not socialize much, which meant that i could leave my face as it as since i was by myself half the time. And what happened? My skin miraculously cleared up, became fairer and when i decided to indulge in a peel-off mask after 8 months, i'm telling you my face was VELVETY smooth if you ever touched my face your hand would like, slip or something. So now I'm gonna share what i did in order to achieve better skin and hence reducing my need for makeup.
♣ Exercise! when you do, you do, you're putting a healthy glow onto your face. And it feels awesome when you're working up a sweat! Furthermore, exercise causes your body to release endorphins (<--stuff that makes you happy) . ♣ Sleep sleep sleep! I can swear by this i telll you. Try sleeping for around 10 hours. And wake up on your own. Dont use an alarm clock whatsoever. I had a 12 hour sleep today and to my delight, when i woke up, two small zits i had to my cheeks have been visibly reduceed! ♣ stick to a simple beauty regime! in high school, my beauty regime was, mon-fri: hazeline snow green tea extract/ toner, moisturizer
sat: cucumber/peel off mask/cloth mask/any sorta mask
when skin is REALLY BAD: lemon juive (drunk AND dabbed onto face) and/or ginseng mud mask.
before an appoinyment: really expensive cloth mask.
I was 16 then and the products that i used were too rich for my skin, resulting in the persistence of the zits despite my valiant efforts to obliterate em. Its best to find something best suited for your skin. if you're a teenager, stick to mild products!
after high school:
mon-sun: ginvera marvel gel > junkisui facewash > junkisui refreshing lotion. ( i do not use junkisui facewash now Its makes my skin feel dry. Now i use Sebamed. It has a pH of 5.5 so it doesn't dry my skin, and it makes my skin feel really really clean too! go check out their website here!)
when i have some additional cash: some facial mask.
when skin is bad: up the vit C intake + apply cucumber onto face
♣ Eat right! Your internal health pretty much shows in your skin. if you're healthy, you skin's healthy. I take vitamin E supplements and i try to eat as much greens as i can. Whenever i decide to feast on crisps, expect five new zits to appear on my face the next day. this is not the case for fast foods though. So i can still get my dose of macD's but i try not to eat too much junk food. Of course you can't expect instantaneous results for this. i think you'd definitely be able to see results in a month or so.
♣ reduce the amount of makeup you apply. This would be true for makeup addicts. i believe i mentioned earlier how i would pile on makeup onto my face like a crazy freak? Now, my staples are lip and cheek stain plus a lil concealer on my problem spots - under my eyes where i have dark circles. Cuz i read somewhere that people with fair skin have dark circles that are more obvious so there aint much i can do about this.Whenever i head downtown obviously i would doll up a lil more with eyeliner. Try skipping the foundation altogether and get a concealer that matches your skin tone, and apply it onto whatever blemishes you may have. And if you're taking pics, ALL THE MORE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY! Cuz theres this MAGICAL program called Photoshop of which you can utilize to beautify yourself! Ahh that gives me an idea for my next post! photoshop tricks!
♣ know some quick fixes. I know of a really effective one that has no scientific evidence of its healing properties but have worked for me. TOOTHPASTE! What i do is that i apply some toothpaste onto a pimple and leave it on for a few hours/overnight. What happens is that when i wipe it off, the pimple would be gone, but the skin is still a lil bumpy and red. LEAVE IT! Do NOT apply more toothpaste thinking it will speed up the healing process. you know what happens? it burns your skin and leaves an unsightly red patch. Which is even worse than where you were when you first decided to put on toothpaste to solve your problem! So you skin's still a lil red and bumpy, but at least it's coverable with a bit of concealer. leave it for a few days and your skin will heal on its own.
